How the Marketplace Top 10 is ranked
The Mashriq Center Marketplace Top 10 is a purely performance-based ranking of verified eCommerce shops. It cannot be purchased. Directory-only businesses are excluded from the Top 10 and appear in separate discovery sections that are clearly labelled.
Score formula (weights sum to 100%)

Engagement analytics (profile views, contact clicks, saves) are recorded but not scored. They act only as a deterministic tie-breaker when two shops finish with identical scores.
Eligibility
- At least 20 completed marketplace orders in the last 90 days.
- At least 10 verified-purchase customer reviews.
- No active temporary or permanent penalty.
Shops that are active but below these thresholds appear in the Rising Shops section, not the Top 10.
Fraud & data hygiene
- Test orders are excluded from all signals.
- Duplicate reviews are collapsed to the latest per buyer + product.
- Only shop-caused cancellations reduce fulfilment score.
- Only defective, wrong item, and not as described returns reduce quality score.
- Only confirmed complaints count, weighted by severity.
Promoted placements
Featured Businesses are paid Directory placements. They never appear inside the Top 10 or Rising sections and are always visibly labelled as Promoted.
